Arquivo.pt launched a new version on June 23, 2017 called Venus, in which the Advanced Search operators were improved.
It stands out the improvement of the search operator site that allows to restrict searches to certain preserved sites. For example:
- site:www.bbc.com Federer – search for preserved pages of the site www.bbc.com that contain the word Federer
- site:www.washingtonpost.com "Donald Trump" –search for preserved pages of the site www.washingtonpost.com that contain the expression Donald Trump
- site:www.washingtonpost.com site:www.bbc.com "United Nations" – search for preserved pages of the sites www.washingtonpost.com and www.bbc.com that contain the expression United Nations
The reproduction of preserved pages containing error messages was also reduced.
