The author of content archived by Arquivo.PT may request that it be removed from the archive.
To this end, the author must submit a sworn statement in accordance with the following template: Declaration of Responsibility for a Request to Remove Content from Arquivo.pt (in Portuguese).
In the case of a Corporate Entity, the request may be made by a representative of the respective entity following the model: Declaration of Responsibility for Removal Request from Arquivo.pt – Corporate Entity (in Portuguese).
In exceptional cases, where there is reasonable doubt regarding the applicant’s identity, the applicant may be asked to present an identification document from which any information not relevant to verifying that identity has been redacted.
Arquivo.pt recommends that you only request content removal if it violates legally protected rights, such as copyright or other intellectual property rights.
