Usability and accessibility for people with disabilities

To enable the access to archived contents in the future, it is advisable to follow best practices regarding usability and accessibility for people with disabilities.

The contents that are not usable or accessible in the present, will hardly be in the future when they become exclusively available through the PWA.

As people loose abilities with their age, some authors that don’t have accessibility concerns may become unable to access archived contents that they created.

Recommendations regarding usability, accessibility for people with disabilities and web archiving are closely connected. Thus, an improvement in one of these perspectives usually also improves the other ones.
